Xiaomi has recently launched December 2020 patch update to its Redmi 8A users in several regions and now this update arrives in China. It brings system optimizations, system animations, the control center, notification shade and more.
In this update, Xiaomi optimized the full-screen gestures are now ignored on the Lock screen alarm page as well as animations in selected scenes.
Additionally, it brings the new swipe down from the upper left corner to open the Notification shade and from the upper right corner to open the Control center as well as fix the notification shade that wasn’t displayed correctly in Dark mode.

Now, talking about the version number, this update bumping on the build number V12.0.1.0.QCPCNXM which is based on MIUI 12/Android 10 update.
