Recently, Xiaomi rolled out MIUI 12 based December 2020 security patch update for Redmi 10X 4G with the build number V12.0.6.0.QJOMIXM and now again the company rolled out MIUI 12 based new software update for Redmi 10X 4G in Chinese variant.
The MIUI 12 version is based on the Android 10 operating system. It was introduced back in April this year and offered to a wide range of devices over the past few months. This version comes with a host of improvements and new features for the added privacy of users. It also gives better control to the user over the kind of permissions accessed by various apps.

This is still an Android 10-based UI update and not Android 11. Since then two major MIUI updates and one Android firmware upgrade have been shipped.
Talking about this update, it comes with firmware version V12.0.8.0.QJOCNXM, and weighs 2.4GB in size. The update gets the usual MIUI 12 design and animation changes along with increased system security.
