Samsung: S Pen will support more devices in the future

According to the Verge report, on January 14, Samsung released the latest generation of Galaxy S21 series flagship phones, of which Galaxy S21 Ultra became the first Galaxy S phone that supports S Pen. According to the official statement, S Pen will be supported on more devices in the future.

The president of Samsung Mobile TM Roh stated in a statement: “We are committed to innovating seamless and continuous new mobile experiences to make consumers’ lives easier and better. We have made a bold decision to bring the S Pen experience Expand to Galaxy S21 Ultra, and plan to expand the S Pen experience to other device categories in the future.”

The Verge stated that the “other device category” is not clear, but given that the S Pen is already compatible with some Samsung smartphones and its Tab tablets, it is expected that the next device that can use the S Pen will be Samsung’s foldable product.

This is not the first time Samsung has revealed that the S Pen supports other devices. Roh stated as early as December last year that Samsung has been “focusing on people’s favorite Galaxy Note experience and is happy to add its favorite features to other devices in our lineup.”

Roh also said: “We are very happy to hear people’s expectations for the S Pen, and even many people want to use it on the Galaxy Fold.” Later, after reiterating the features of the Galaxy Z Fold 2, he added: “Of course we will continue to listen to customer feedback. So please continue to monitor future developments.”
