Talking about the January 2021 security patch update, it comes with the build number G950FXXSBDUA3 and G955FXXSBDUA3 for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ respectively.
If you have the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, then you go on the device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install. Users are receiving the update progressively over-the-air (OTA).
