Samsung Galaxy S9, S9+, and Note FE installs February 2021 patch update

Samsung recently rolled out the February 2021 security patch update to its Galaxy Note 20 and S20 lineup and now the company moving to other devices.

The Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ and Galaxy Note FE smartphone users receiving the current month patch – February 2021 security patch update.

Additionally, this update comes with new performance improvements and enhancements for system functions for increased user experience.

Talking about this update, it comes with the build number G960FXXSEFUA1, G965FXXSEFUA1, and N935SKSU4CUA1 for the Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+, and Galaxy Note FE respectively.

As per the latest security bulletin, this update brings fixes for 32 high and 4 critical levels of CVEs. Furthermore, the company will send this new software update to the Galaxy S9 and Note FE phones in different batches, so it may take some time to available widely.

If you have the Samsung Galaxy S9, S9+, and Note FE, then you can check the update manually by going to the device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.
