Always-On Display or AOD is a feature available on certain Samsung smartphones. AOD allows you to customize your screen to show time, date, battery status, notifications, screen savers and more.

You can find useful information quickly and easily without turning the screen on. as well as find useful information quickly and easily on the Always On Display without turning the screen on.

As per the new update, Samsung rolling out the new update for the AOD (Always On Display) and it comes with the build number 6.2.11.3.

According to the changelog, the display charging information only for a certain amount of time after fully charging the battery to improve display performance.

The Android 11-based One UI 3.0 brings many changes in the AOD with more customizable features and also supports video content such as GIFs. You can check the complete changelog which is mention below.

Changelog:

  • Display charging information only for a certain amount of time after fully charging the battery to improve display performance.
  • Fixed AOD position error from LockStar clock alignment.
  • Fixed an error in which the date is not displayed properly in some regions when a left-side alignment digital clock style is used.
