According to reports, Apple plans to hold a new hardware product launch event on March 16. The legendary 2021 iPad Pro/iPad mini and AirTags smart trackers are expected to be unveiled during this period. Earlier, it was reported that the 2021 iPad Pro may become the first model with a mini-LED display, and the frame of the new generation iPad mini will also be much narrower.
Last September, Apple attracted the attention of countless people with four iPhone 12 smartphones and three M1 Mac computers. But after that, the company fell into a relatively low profile.
However, referring to the tradition of the spring conference and combining the recent supply chain news from Taiwan, Apple is still expected to hold a larger-scale new hardware product conference in March 2021.

In a report on Friday, the Economic Daily cited two tweets from @FrontTron and @LeaksApplePro. The former claims that Apple will release the 2021 iPad Pro and iPad mini, AirTags Bluetooth smart tracker, and announcing extended support for Apple Card payment services on March 16.
Another tweet that day also mentioned that Apple would release AirTags on March 16, but unfortunately did not disclose more details.
Although the iPad Pro is destined to become a hot product this spring, it may not usher in a substantial change in appearance. Several sources pointed out that the 2021 12.9-inch iPad Pro will be the first to adopt a mini-LED screen, which is said to bring better contrast, black purity, and improved energy efficiency than LCD screens.
As for the new iPad mini, @xleaks shared a series of outflow CAD renderings last month, which showed a device with a much smaller frame than before. In addition, well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said about a year ago that the screen size of the new iPad mini may be increased from the current 7.9 inches to between 8.5 and 9 inches.
