Android 11 based ColorOS 11 update rolling out for OPPO A93

OPPO A93 5G arrives with the latest Android v11 operating system and Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chipset, accompanied by a wide variety of stunning features. The 5G enabled device gets a powerful battery, ensuring impressive working hours. However, its hybrid SIM slots and restricted internal storage can make buyers rethink their choice.

As per the previous report, the OPPO A93 already received the ColorOS 11 beta update in January 2021 and now the company rolling out the brand new Android 11 based ColorOS 11 stable update for OPPO A93 in Malaysia.

For those unaware, OPPO A93 is a rebranded OPPO F17 Pro for some SEA counties. The F17 Pro had already received the ColorOS 11 update in November 2020.

This update is seemingly rolling out in a staged manner. Accordingly, the update may take some time to arrive on your handset.

That said, as per the ColorOS 11 update timeline for February 2021, OPPO will be releasing the first beta build for OPPO A91 on February 27 in Indonesia. On the other hand, the OPPO Reno3 Pro 5G will get a stable build in Russia and Kazakhstan on February 27.

That’s not all, the following smartphones are/ will be receiving a stable release in the European regions this month.

  • OPPO Reno4 5G (Portugal, Italy)
  • OPPO Find X2 Neo (Netherlands, France, Spain)
  • OPPO Reno3 Pro (Ukraine)
  • OPPO Reno4 Pro (Ukraine)

If you have the OPPO A93 device, then you can check the software update manually by going to the device Settings > Software update to check if your unit has got the OTA update yet.

Note: Before upgrading to the latest version make sure your smartphone is connected with a proper internet connection, we recommend you to download it over WIFI so that you will not face any error.
