Apple App Store and other services will launch featured content to celebrate Women’s History Month

According to the Macrumors, Apple today announced that it will launch featured content promoting female creators on the App Store and other Apple services throughout March and beyond to celebrate women’s History Month and International Women’s Day.

Apple claims that it will further amplify women’s voices in all of its services, bringing untold stories, exclusive content and curated series to users to celebrate women’s achievements and promote gender equality.

For example, starting from International Women’s Day, Apple Fitness + users will get a collection of 24 sports and fitness projects brought by female artists, including rowing, strength, core, treadmill, cycling, dance, yoga and other types.

These featured content will also be available on Apple TV, Apple Books, Apple Podcasts, Apple News, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, etc.

Apple will also host a virtual Today at Apple conference hosted by female creators. On March 8, Apple Watch users can participate in the International Women’s Day Challenge. As long as they record any exercise for more than 20 minutes, they can get a limited-edition reward.
