Xiaomi again rolled out the January 2021 security patch for Redmi 8A Dual in India with the latest build number V12.0.1.0.QCQINXM weighs 2.3GB in size. Redmi 8A Dual has started receiving the Android 10 based January 2021 security patch update in India. MIUI 12 Stable ROM is rolling out over-the-air, and the company has also made available the ROM packages for those who cannot wait.
The latest MIUI 12 update brings the full-screen gestures are now ignored on the Lock screen alarm page as well as control center is now closed by incoming calls.

Xiaomi has taken to its forums to announce the arrival of a new update for Redmi 8A Dual users. The firmware version for the update is V12.0.1.0.QCQINXM for Redmi 8A Dual and users are receiving the update progressively over-the-air (OTA). Users should check for the update manually in the Updater app.
Alternatively, Xiaomi has made available the ROM packages for the Redmi 8A Dual for all those users who want to manually download the update. The size of the package is about 1.8GB and it can be downloaded from the forums.
