According to the changelog, this update only contains some optimizations and bug fixes. But as pointed out by Reddit netizen u/T1Az, Fnatic Mode also quietly ushered in a name change. Although OnePlus has not yet released any official announcement about this change, XDA-Developers have found several new “Pro Gaming Mode” strings in the game application.
After getting in touch with the official, the company gave the following statement: “OnePlus and Fnatic’s partnership has naturally ended, but OnePlus smartphone users can continue to enjoy the same professional game mode.”
It is reported that this change will start with OnePlus 6 series smartphones and then transition to all devices. However, considering that the two parties have reached long-term friendly cooperation, OnePlus is still looking forward to renewing the forefront with Fnatic. As for the Fnatic-themed wallpapers and hidden easter eggs, you should not be able to see them again in the short term.
