According to the latest report from WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is working on a new beta version 2.21.50 and it is said that the App will no longer work on iOS 9. This means that the company might be planning to drop the support soon.

For now, the company has not officially announced this new development. In fact, there is no mention of it on the company’s FAQ page. If the company is really planning to go ahead with this, then we should expect to see an official announcement soon as well.
