Windows 10 21H2 feature update will remove pre-installed apps such as 3D Viewer

In the latest Windows 10 Build 21332 preview update, Microsoft stated that 3D Viewer and Paint 3D will be removed from the clean installation. Microsoft stated that these two applications are oriented towards “creators” and “artists”. They are bloated pre-installed applications for ordinary users. They will become “optional” in the upcoming 21H2 feature update. Ordinary users provide a more pure Windows experience.

Starting from the Windows 10 21H2 feature update, Pure Install will no longer provide 3D Viewer and Paint 3D applications. But if you are a creator, you can re-download it from the Microsoft Store at any time. Next is the “3D Objects” folder, which will also disappear in the upcoming feature update.

In addition to these 3D applications and folders, Microsoft also plans to remove the “Math Input Panel”, another unpopular feature that allows advanced users to use input devices to write mathematical formulas and insert them into different types of documents.

It is worth noting that Microsoft has made these changes to the preview version. Today, if you use the ISO file to install the Windows 10 preview update, you will no longer see these apps, features, and folders.
