By adding group features, Google’s Nearby Share is becoming a strong competitor to Apple’s Airdrop. Citing an XDA-Developers report, Google is studying two features related to Nearby Share internally.
One is that it can be shared with everyone nearby like an Airdrop. For safety’s sake, this feature will automatically revert to “All Contacts” after 5 minutes to prevent accidental sharing with strangers on other occasions.
