Microsoft pops up a message to warn that Win10 version 1909 is about to stop supporting

According to the Windows Latest reported that if you are still running Windows 10 version 1909, version 1903 or earlier, you may have noticed a new message notification in the system tray: your Windows 10 The version will soon reach the end of the service.

According to Microsoft, support for Windows 10 version 1909 will end on May 11, 2021. As that date approaches, the company is very keen to persuade users to upgrade to Windows 10 version 2004 or the 20H2 update.

In order to allow users to upgrade to the latest version of Windows 10, Microsoft has now begun to display notifications to remind users of the end of the service period. The pop-up message will appear in the system tray, it can be dismissed, but if you don’t upgrade, it will appear again.

“Your version of Windows 10 is about to reach the end of its service period. Click to download the updated version of Windows 10 to maintain support,” the notice said.

But there is a problem in some cases, you cannot click the notification and download the latest feature update. Microsoft Windows 10 version 2004 or 20H2 update may have opened an update for almost all configuration devices, but due to unknown safeguards and compatibility issues, this feature update still cannot be delivered to some of these devices.

Microsoft has added a notification that users will be notified if their PC is not ready to accept Microsoft’s latest upgrade. Unfortunately, the notice did not provide any details about “compatibility issues” or safeguards preventing Windows 10 version 2004 and other updates.

If you do not see the option to install feature updates, or if you have difficulty distinguishing the vague information of Windows Update, you can manually update the device at any time.
