Cortana for iOS and Android will stop supporting on March 31

Microsoft Cortana will soon disappear on iOS and Android devices, and now the app will remind users to stop using it. The Cortana app on iOS and Android will be discontinued on March 31, 2021. Twitter user Rohit Yadav shared a screenshot of the Cortana app on Android to remind users that the app is about to be discontinued, and the iPhone app also appears the same caveat.

Microsoft detailed the impending discontinuation in a support document, “As we announced in July, we will soon end support for the Cortana app on Android and iOS, and Cortana as a productivity assistant will continue to evolve. Starting March 31, 2021, the Cortana content you create – such as reminders and lists – will no longer function in the Cortana mobile app, but will still be accessible through Cortana in Windows. In addition, Cortana’s reminders, Lists and tasks will be automatically synchronized to Microsoft’s To-Do app, and you can download them to your phone for free. After March 31, 2021, the Cortana mobile app on your phone will no longer be supported”.

Microsoft has turned Cortana into the direction of productivity, such as helping people accomplish things through Microsoft 365.
