As per the new report by Max that alleged OnePlus Nord SE won’t be launching in commercial markets, and Nord successor OnePlus Nord 2 could launch in less than 5 months as its development started a long back ago.

According to the Max, as several of my sources now report, this Special Edition will NOT be presented to the public. Unfortunately, I was not given an exact reason for this decision. It cannot be ruled out that the Nord SE name will not be used in future smartphones or Special Editions. The only thing that is certain at this point is that the planned Special Edition of the original Nord will not be released.

Furthermore, it seems very unrealistic that OnePlus will still release the Special Edition in cooperation with Joshua Vides, since the successor of the OnePlus Nord, the Nord 2 (codename “Denniz”), has already been in development for several months now. Considering the launch date of the original Nord and the slightly earlier launch of the OnePlus 9, the Nord 2 might be introduced in less than 5 months.
