Spotify redesigned macOS and Web version, a new and simple experience

After the launch of a new update to the iOS application, Spotify is now beginning to revamp its desktop, Mac and Web applications. In a blog post, Spotify stated that it will introduce a “new and improved look and feel of desktop and web applications – tweaking the experience and making both easier to use than ever.”

“Because the desktop experience is the original window of Spotify to the world, this is not an easy task for us. We spent months testing and researching, talking with users, and collecting feedback. Now, we are very happy to be able to provide a new, simple design, more control functions, and a great new foundation for our listeners to use Spotify through our desktop application and web player in the next few years.”

Through a new homepage, Spotify makes it easier for you to access the most important content in “your library” and simplifies the creation of playlists through integrated search. Another feature introduced by its desktop version is that you can directly drag and drop tracks into your playlist.

Spotify Redesigned The Top Feature:

  • Search-This tab can now be found on the left side of the navigation page.
  • Audience profile-now includes top artists and tracks.
  • Menu-listeners now only need to click on the menu to start a radio session, any song or artist track.
  • Playlist-It’s easier to customize your playlist. You can write descriptions, upload pictures, drag and drop tracks, use the new embedded search bar, edit the queue and view the recently played tracks, and apply the new through the new drop-down menu in the upper right corner Sorting options.
  • Use offline features to save bandwidth-advanced users can download their favorite music and podcasts and play them even when offline.

Spotify explained that the redesigned Spotify desktop and web application experience makes these features easier to use.
