While announcing WWDC 2021, Apple has carried out a comprehensive transformation of the Apple developer apps for iOS, iPadOS and macOS, and has carried out a number of updates to the appearance and experience of the platform.
The feature of this update is the redesign of the sidebar for iPadOS and later versions, the new discovery tab is used to locate the content to be watched and read, and to provide full-screen video content support for larger Mac displays.
“We have improved the appearance and experience of the developer apps on the iPhone, iPad, and Mac to help you access articles, videos, news, and announcements, as well as past WWDC content,” Apple said of the update.

- Explore the new Discovery Tag experience on iOS 14 and improve the support for large-size displays.
- Use the new sidebar to navigate content on iPadOS 14.
- Improved the search tab on iOS 14 to make it easier for you to find what you want to watch.
- Extend the time of the login session.
- Bugs are fixed and various other enhancements have been added.
- The Apple Developer app can be downloaded for free from the App Store. Users can get it on iPhone, iPad or Mac.
