Huawei HMS has become the third largest mobile application ecosystem in the world

Huawei held an online press conference today and announced its 2020 annual results. In 2020, Huawei’s global sales revenue was 891.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.8%; net profit was 64.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.2%; cash flow from operating activities was 35.2 billion yuan, basically in line with expectations.

Hu Houkun, Huawei Vice Chairman and Rotating Chairman of Huawei, said: “HMS has become the world’s third-largest mobile application ecosystem in 2020. At the end of 2020, there are 2.3 million registered developers worldwide, including 300,000 overseas and more than 120,000 extended applications”.

In addition, at the press conference, it was also stated that HarmonyOS has attracted more than 20 hardware vendors and 280 application vendors to participate in the ecological construction. In the next step, it is planned to launch the Hongmeng operating system on mobile phones.
