Xiaomi expanding the MIUI 12 based software update for Mi Max 3 and Mi 8 Lite in Global and China with the build number V12.0.4.0.PEMMIXM/V12.0.2.0.QEDCNXM for Mi Max 3 and V12.0.2.0.QDTCNXM for Mi 8 Lite. This build comes with the same changelog as the previous one. You can check the download the update from the link mention below.

Xiaomi has started rolling out MIUI 12 based update for the Mi Max 3 and Mi 8 Lite devices in China. This is still an Android 10-based UI update and not Android 11. Since then two major MIUI updates and one Android firmware upgrade have been shipped.
Talking about this update, it comes with firmware version V12.0.2.0.QEDCNXM & V12.0.2.0.QDTCNXM and weighs 2.3GB for Mi Max 3 and Mi 8 Lite respectively. The update gets the usual MIUI 12 design and animation changes along with increased system security.
