Microsoft is testing a number of new features to allow Windows 10 users to better manage the new Chromium-based Edge browser. In the latest feedback post, Microsoft confirmed that it is considering a new feature that allows users to display the tab bar on the right instead of on the top or left.
Currently, the tab bar of the Edge browser can be placed on the left, which is very useful for avoiding accidentally closing tabs and using keyboard shortcuts or cursors to rearrange multiple tabs at the same time.

And Microsoft now plans to allow the user to move the tab bar to the right. Microsoft said in a statement: “We have not only received a lot of direct requests, but also many users on social media. The team is reviewing this option.”
The option to change the alignment of tabs can help users improve work efficiency, and it also has aesthetic benefits. When tabs begin to appear vertically in their favorite positions, many people will like it. This will also make it easier to manage a large number of tabs at the same time, especially when you like the tabs to appear on the right side of the display.
