Report: Samsung kick-off development of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 firmware

As we know that, Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 3 is said to be the top model of the Korean giant. The new foldable smartphone is expected to bring a variety of improvements. It may also be the first foldable from Samsung to have support for the S Pen.

For now, the company hasn’t said that when it will unveil the new foldable. However, it’s quite likely that we’ll get it in the second half of this year. Samsung is diligently working on getting the device ready. As per the Sammobile report, the development of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 firmware is at work.

Since Samsung won’t be launching a new Galaxy Note handset this year, all eyes are on the Galaxy Z Fold 3. It will also be accompanied by a new clamshell foldable which will likely be called the Galaxy Z Flip 2.

The new Galaxy Z Fold handset bears model number SM-F926. It will come with at least 256GB of storage. Android 11 will obviously be present alongside One UI 3.5. If we check the launch history of Samsung’s devices we can assume that Samsung will target the August/September timeframe for the handset’s launch.
