Google updated the Chrome Global Media Controls feature

Google has updated the Global Media Controls located under the media playback scene in the Chrome toolbar. The new version of the control adds a progress bar, which is a very useful feature for users who often use a browser to watch videos on web pages. The addition of the progress bar means that the Picture in Picture (PiP) video in the Chrome browser will eventually have a transmission control.

This is an element that has been very lacking in the PiP floating window. Without it, playback control will not be achieved every time the control is opened. Now, in PiP mode, you can easily locate the playback time without returning to the video playback tab. This feature is now available in Chrome Canary, but it seems to be part of a controlled test and not everyone can use it.
