Rebirth Entertainment announced that their free battle royale game Apex Legends now has more than 100 million independent players. The game was released in February 2019, and it took just over two years to reach this milestone. The success of Apex Legends shows that battle royale shooting games are still very popular, even though this type of game has been very competitive in the past few years.

Activision’s Call of Duty: Warzone attracted more than 75 million players as of August last year, and it took less than 5 months (released in March 2020). In addition, Epic Games also said that their killer game Fortnite had more than 350 million registered players worldwide in May last year.
