Amazon invested heavily in creating video and music content

Amazon’s annual report submitted on Thursday showed that Amazon invested $11 billion in the production of streaming video and music content last year, again showing that the company is willing to invest heavily in providing entertainment content for Prime members.

According to the report, the US$11 billion in content spending increased by 41% from the US$7.8 billion in 2019. Amazon is attracting customers’ attention in the streaming services of many rivals such as Netflix, Apple, and Disney.
