The new iPhone 13 renders shows major camera upgrades

Every time a new iPhone product is released, there will be a season of leaks and rumors, and the upcoming iPhone 13 series in September is no exception. And every new iPhone product leak season, we can usually see the rendering of the new phone months in advance.

The iPhone 13 series has just reached this milestone. Someone has obtained 3D renderings of several models of the iPhone 13 series to show us what the iPhone 13 looks like in real life. These renders indicate that the rumors that the bangs will be narrower than before may be accurate.

The upcoming iPhone 13 series will adopt the same overall design as the iPhone 12 series, but various adjustments will be immediately apparent. The bangs are not that wide, and the rear camera module is bigger and thicker.

In addition, the height and width of the iPhone 13 Pro will be the same as that of the iPhone 12 Pro, but the thickness is slightly larger, indicating that the battery capacity of some iPhone 13 versions will increase.

This time the leaked is mainly iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 13 mini. The YouTube channel EverythingApplePro received a CAD design allegedly for the iPhone 13, and they 3D printed a mockup to compare it with the iPhone 12 version.

The render shows that the design of the iPhone 12 will stay for another year, but with some essential changes. The bangs are further narrowed because the top speaker has been moved up to the upper side of the thin and even bezel around the screen.

The size of all rear camera modules will increase, taking up more space in the upper left corner than last year’s camera modules. They are also thicker, which means that the bulge of the camera will be slightly larger.

In addition, mobile phones such as iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini will use different camera arrangements. The two cameras will be placed diagonally instead of vertically. We speculate that there may be a simple explanation for this reshuffle. The wide-angle camera will get the sensor-shift optical image stabilization function, so the sensor will be larger.

The schematics in these pictures also show that the side elements will be slightly higher on the left side of the iPhone 13. This includes the mute switch, volume buttons and SIM card tray. This change is meaningful because it is rumored that Apple will incorporate the SIM card tray into the logic board of the phone, and the 5G antenna will be slightly larger. However, these renderings have not been confirmed, so before Apple announces the new iPhone, everything is not conclusive.
