2020 has been a year of change for OnePlus. The Shenzen company’s product portfolio has expanded to the largest it’s ever been, one of its co-founders left for pastures new, and even its beloved Oxygen OS software received a dramatic overhaul. But all this change kicked off with the OnePlus 8 Pro — the brand’s first true non-compromise flagship phone. Its predecessor, the OnePlus 7 Pro, signaled a shift towards the premium end of the smartphone market, but the OnePlus 8 Pro launched as the most powerful and feature-packed phone that OnePlus had ever made.
Even with the recent launch of the OnePlus 8T, those things still hold true today. So, just over six months after its release is the Best of Android mid-2020 winner still worth buying or has the competition caught up.
Recently, OnePlus released the OxygenOS betas update for its OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8T that fixes lots of bugs and brings new optimizations. Now, OnePlus distribute the latest beta updates for its OnePlus 8 lineup devices. OnePlus 8/Pro received the OxygenOS Beta 9 while the OnePlus 8T receiving OxygenOS Beta 3. This build also includes the current month’s patch – April 2021 security patch update. You can check the complete changelog which is mentioned below as well as a download link.

- Fixed the issue with AOD that the time is displayed abnormally when the system language is Hebrew.
OnePlus Games
- Newly added the Data Monitor feature, you can find it in the Game Toolbox and monitor the FPS/CPU/GPU changes in real-time.
Gallery
- Improved the loading speed of the gallery to speed up the process of previewing pictures.
