[Updated: Verizon] April 2021 security patch kicked off for Samsung Galaxy S20 lineup

After Samsung, now Verizon also rolled out the April 2021 security patch update to its Galaxy S20 lineup devices in the US and users can identify this build on a firmware number G988USQU1DUD3, G986USQU1DUD3, and G981VSQU1DUD3for the Galaxy S20 Ultra, S20+, and S20 5G UW respectively.. Samsung ships the Galaxy S20 Ultra with the Exynos 990 SoC, which has two Exynos M5 cores clocked at 2.73GHz, two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.5GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2GHz.

Back in February, Samsung rolled out the Android 11 based One UI 3.1 software update and then the company released a new software update that brings some new camera features and more. Now, this time, the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra device owners in the US received the April 2021 security patch update.

As per the report, the latest software update comes with the build number Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G – N986U1UES2DUC8 and Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G – N981U1UES2DUC8. This software update currently rolled out for the Galaxy S20 Snapdragon variant and the Exynos variant soon be grabbed this update.
