Recently, Samsung released the May 2021 security patch update and the first device to got this update is Galaxy S21 series. Now, Samsung has officially rolled out the May 2021 security patch update for its Galaxy Z Flip 5G in Switzerland while the Galaxy Tab A7 received the Android 11 based One UI 3.1 software update and the company also includes the March 2021 patch in various European countries and the UK.
According to the report, this software update carries firmware numbers F707BXXU3DUD7 and T505XXU3BUD7 for Galaxy Z Flip 5G & the Galaxy Tab A7. For Galaxy Z Flip 5G, there are no changes mentioned in this update apart from the build number while the Galaxy Tab A7 got the various new features and a refreshed UI design such as improved UI design, one-time permissions, auto permissions reset, chat bubbles, a centralized media player widget below quick settings toggles, a conversations section in the notifications area, quicker access to smart home controls, and improved performance and security.

One UI 3.1 features include more Dynamic Lockscreen options and lock screen widgets, improved Digital Wellbeing and parental controls, newer versions of stock apps with new features, improved Samsung Keyboard and Samsung Internet apps, the ability to remove GPS location data from images while sharing them, and a newer design in the Device Care section.
Owners of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G and Galaxy Tab A7 can receive notification of this update. By chance you don’t receive an update notification then check the update manually by going to the device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.
