Elementary OS 6 Beta release based on Ubuntu released

Code-named “Odin”, elementary OS 6 enters the Beta stage today. The co-founder and CXO Cassidy James Blaede of the release said: “Developers and early adopters, today is what you are looking forward to elementary OS 6 Beta is now released.”

He continued: “Since last August, we have been talking about elementary OS 6 publicly. Since then, we have been working hard to turn our goals into reality. Nonetheless, the work we have done for us We are proud that we have completed and are happy to deliver it to developers and testers as we work hard to complete the stable version.”

Blaede further explained: “Once the developer platform stabilizes, the Beta version is a snapshot of the Early Access version. Currently, we invite application developers to start building and testing their applications on elementary OS. So we still caution against The Beta version is used as your daily main system, and it is still impossible to completely upgrade to a stable version. But the system should be relatively stable, especially in terms of APIs for developers.”
