Samsung spins the new Galaxy S20 FE, or “Fan Edition”, as a model that offers all the features that fans care most about in a more affordable package. As the prices of flagship phones have skyrocketed to well over Rs. 1,00,000 over the past few years, the “flagship killer” segment at around Rs. 40,000 to 50,000 has become more and more important. Rather than let competitors such as OnePlus and Xiaomi eat its lunch, the Korean giant has decided to fight back with a watered-down version of the Galaxy S20.
After the some Galaxy latest and older device received the May 2021 patch now Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G variant is now catching the latest May 2021 security patch update. However, the Galaxy S20 FE 4G variant also got the latest firmware update but it not clarified that this is May patch.

The update could also include improved Quick Share and the Dual Recording feature in the camera app. This new camera feature lets you record videos from the front camera and the rear camera simultaneously.

As per the report, this software update carries firmware version G781BXXU3CUD6 for 5G variant in some European countries and the UK and G780FXXS3CUD7 for 4G variant in Spain.
Owners of the Galaxy S20 FE 5G can receive notification of this update. By chance you don’t receive an update notification then check the update manually by going to the device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.
Note: Before upgrading to the latest version make sure your smartphone is connected with a proper internet connection, we recommend you to download it over WIFI so that you will not face any error.
