YouTube is testing new features called automatic translation of video titles, descriptions and more

Some users reported that desktop and mobile YouTube have the option of automatically translating titles. After activation, the video title, description and closed captions viewed by the user are automatically translated.

Based on the information held by the sources, Google is currently inviting some YouTube users for testing. Their main language is set to Portuguese, Spanish or Turkish. Videos with translated titles will display a small translation icon in front of the title.

This change seems to occur on the server-side, so updating the application may not affect the automatic translation feature. The automatic translation of English video makes it possible for the video to reach more audiences and opens up the accessibility of English video for people from non-English speaking countries.
