YouTube Shorts officially landed in the United States

YouTube has also joined the short video war and is currently vigorously promoting the Shorts service, providing rich incentives for creators in the United States. The launch of this service was confirmed in the latest YouTube Creator Insider video briefing, highlighted in the dedicated Creator Studio section, and some minor feature changes were also outlined. After a successful trial run in India, YouTube Shorts initially landed in the United States in March as a beta version.

Shorts just added a Shorts sub-column to the main YouTube mobile application. You need to scroll on the Home page before you can click on the Short page. Opening a video will launch a new interface that allows you to scroll up or down to start the playback of the next video clip.

The new creation tool has added a 60-second time limit for Shorts, and subtitles will also be added as an important accessibility feature and will be automatically generated or the creator can manually add these subtitles. At the same time, there are new video filters and effects that you can apply to the editing and recording screens.

Finally, with this expansion in the United States, a new YouTube Shorts label will appear in the Android and iOS mobile apps, and it will be found in the bottom row of the app. This new feature will actually see the “Explore” tab move from the bottom bar to the upper left corner of the application we are sure this makes some people unhappy.
