Epic bids $200 million for Sony to introduce 4-6 first-party games to PC

Recently, some internal Epic documents have been leaked on the Internet. The documents show that Epic bid Sony US$200 million to bring Sony’s 4-6 first-party games to the PC platform. Sony did not reject this proposal, and Epic is currently awaiting its response. If Sony accepts the proposal, there will be several first-party games exclusively released on the Epic Games Store.

Epic also intends to introduce first-party games from Microsoft and Nintendo to the Epic Game Store, but this plan does not seem to be easy to achieve. For Nintendo, Epic claims that this is a “moon landing plan.” Nintendo’s history also shows that this is impossible, so don’t expect to be able to play any first-party game of Lao Ren on the PC.

For Microsoft, Epic’s plan seems difficult to implement. The head of Microsoft PC Game Pass opposes Epic’s approach. The Microsoft Store is a competitor to Epic Game Mall. Microsoft Xbox President Phil Spencer occasionally meets with G Fat. The relationship between Microsoft and Valve is strengthening.
