Models before Honor V40 will gradually adapt to HarmonyOS from June

Huawei officially launched the Hongmeng OS system at the 2019 Developer Conference, and first applied it to smart screens and other products, and announced at the 2020 Developers Conference that it would upgrade to support Hongmeng HarmonyOS 2.0 for smartphones.

Digital blogger Chrysanthemum Factory Pictures Fans revealed that the equipment before Honor V40 can be upgraded to the Hongmeng system, including Honor 30 series, V30 series, Honor 20 series (to be confirmed), Honor V20 series (to be confirmed) and other Kirin 810 and 820 devices.

He said that all the old Honor models have been gradually adapted according to the model from June. The exact time is unknown, but the models currently upgraded to the Magic UI 4.0 system will be the first batch of Honor models.

It is expected to include Huawei Kirin 980, Kirin 810, Kirin 990, Kirin 990 5G, Kirin 820, Kirin 985, Kirin 990E, Kirin 820E, Kirin 9000, Kirin 9000E and other chip models.
