Samsung has officially rolled out the April 2021 patch update for its four-year-old device Galaxy J8 in a few Asian countries, including Caucasus countries, Kazakhstan, Russia, Thailand, and Ukraine. The new update, which has been released in Thailand, has firmware version J810FJXS5CUD1. According to the latest information, after a long time, Samsung updated its older device with the April 2021 patch update in different countries. This build includes bug fixes and security improvements. Going by Samsung’s announcement, the update includes more than 30 fixes from Google for vulnerabilities inside stock Android code and 23 fixes from Samsung.

However, this update carries build number J330GDXS3CUD1, J330FNXXS4CUD3 for Cambodia, Italy and J330FXXS4CUD4 for Malaysia, Russia, Taiwan, and Thailand.

Owners of the Galaxy J3 (2017) can receive notification of this update. By chance you don’t receive an update notification then check the update manually by going to the device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.

Note: Before upgrading to the latest version make sure your smartphone is connected with a proper internet connection, we recommend you to download it over WIFI so that you will not face any error.
