Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) receiving April 2021 patch update

Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) smartphone was launched in June 2017. According to the latest information, after a long time, Samsung updated its older device with the April 2021 patch update in South Korea. This build includes bug fixes and security improvements. Going by Samsung’s announcement, the update includes more than 30 fixes from Google for vulnerabilities inside stock Android code and 23 fixes from Samsung.

However, this update carries build number J530LKLU7CUD2.

Owners of the Galaxy J5 (2017) can receive notification of this update. By chance you don’t receive an update notification then check the update manually by going to the device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.
