Gboard adds screenshots to clipboard for easier sharing

Last year, Gboard’s clipboard was expanded to include the option to copy and paste images, and now screenshots are added.

Quickly copy & Paste Screenshots

Last year, Google provided its keyboard app Gboard with handy clipboard suggestions that allow you to paste a word, phrase, or link very quickly. The suggestion is shown in place of the row of stickers, gifs, settings, and the clipboard. Once you have copied a word or piece of text, you can directly paste it into another app with a tap on the clipboard suggestion in Gboard. This is also possible for passwords. Are you not a fan of this? Then you can turn this option off in the settings of Gboard.

Now Google is adding the ability to copy and paste screenshots to the beta version of its keyboard app. Once eligible, you will see a message on Gboard’s clipboard asking if you want to add screenshots. If you agree to enable the new feature, any screenshot you take will be automatically added to the clipboard so you can add it to any conversation with a few taps.

Do you still want to disable this option in Gboard? Then go to the Settings> Clipboard to turn the option off there.

The new screenshot feature is present in Gboard version 10.5.04.367007960 beta, but it is not yet visible to everyone. I already see the option and turned it on immediately. Do you already see the new feature in Gboard? Let us know in the comments below this article.
