Samsung devices now support the management of cryptocurrency hardware wallets

Users of Samsung Galaxy smartphones can now provide hardware support for their cryptocurrency wallets. As early as on the Galaxy S10, the company has provided a blockchain Keystore so that users can safely store encrypted currencies on the device. But if you prefer “cold wallet” offline storage, Samsung’s Blockchain Wallet application also provides fund import support for products such as Ledger Nano S and Nano X.

These hard wallets support Bluetooth wireless or USB wired connection. The former requires Samsung Galaxy smartphones that support the Blockchain Keystore (including most Samsung flagship devices since the Galaxy S10. For a complete list of devices, click here).

If there is no Blockchain Keystore, you can still manage your hard wallet with the help of a USB wired connection. For cryptocurrency enthusiasts, this update should be good news. In terms of software, you need to run Android 9 and higher to manage hardware wallets.
