Samsung Galaxy A72 is officially released on March 26, 2021. The device comes with a big screen of a 6.7 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The smartphone feature a Penta-camera that includes 64 MP (wide) + 8 MP (telephoto) + 12 (ultrawide) + 5 MP (macro) sensor on the rear side. The front camera there is 32 MP (wide) for clicking super selfies and recording videos with 4K@30fps. It also features GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, and 2.0, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector, USB On-The-Go.
The smartphone is integrated with 128 GB and 256 GB internal storage that offers the capacity to store videos, music files, images, and more. It is available in various colors such as Black, and others. Samsung Galaxy A72 runs on the Android 11 operating system with One UI 3.1. The sensors include Fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
Recently, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite received the May 2021 security patch update and before that many devices have already received this patch. Now, another Galaxy A series device grabbed the May 2021 patch update along with new features such as improvements to camera performance, call quality, and file sharing via Quick Share.

This build carries firmware number A725FXXU2AUE1 and currently rolling out in Russia, it will soon available for more continents. May 2021 patch for Galaxy A72 also adds a new feature called video call effects and lets you add custom backgrounds to video calls made using third-party apps such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Duo. You can use a basic blur effect, add an opaque color to the background, or set a custom image from your gallery.

Owners of the Galaxy A72 can receive notification of this update. By chance you don’t receive an update notification then check the update manually by going to the device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.
Note: Before upgrading to the latest version make sure your smartphone is connected with a proper internet connection, we recommend you to download it over WIFI so that you will not face any error.
