[Update: Verizon, New Features] Samsung Galaxy S10 series catches May 2021 patch update

Verizon released the May 2021 patch update in the US for Galaxy S10 lineup users received this update on the  G970USQU5GUE2, G973USQU5GUE2, G975USQU5GUE2, and G977UVRU6FUE2 for the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10 5G respectively.

Samsung again released the May 2021 patch update but at this time it not only the security patch, this update brings Camera and Quick Share features in Europe, with Germany and Switzerland. Galaxy S10/+ users received this update on the N97xxXXU7FUE3 build number.

This build improves the performance of the camera, all the while enhancing Quick Share and the file-sharing experience between Galaxy devices.

This software update improved system security and more. We don’t have an official changelog but May 2021 patch brings fixes for 3 critical CVEs from google and 3 critical, 24 high, and 17 moderate CVEs from Samsung. This build carries firmware numbers G97xFXXUAFUE3 for Galaxy S10 lineup

Owners of the Galaxy S10e, S10 and Galaxy S10+ can receive notification of this update. By chance you don’t receive an update notification then check the update manually by going to the device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.

Note: Before upgrading to the latest version make sure your smartphone is connected with a proper internet connection, we recommend you to download it over WIFI so that you will not face any error.
