Apple is preparing to ship Apple TV 4K second-generation devices to users who have pre-ordered on April 30, and the order has now been converted to ready to ship. MacRumors said that on May 16, Apple began charging credit and debit cards, and orders will soon begin shipping. The earliest Apple TV 4K second-generation pre-orders are expected to be delivered from May 21 to May 27.
The second-generation Apple TV 4K is the same in design as the original Apple TV 4K, but it supports HDR and is equipped with a faster A12 Bionic chip. The new Apple TV 4K is equipped with a redesigned Siri Remote, which has a more robust body and a touchpad.
Apple TV 4K starts at $179 and has 32GB of storage space. The 64GB version is sold for $199. In addition, the new M1 iPad Pro and M1 iMac are also expected to be delivered to users on May 21.
