Huawei’s first smartwatch that supports blood pressure measurement released

At the Huawei full-scenario press conference on May 19, Huawei announced that it has made breakthroughs in wrist-wearable blood pressure measurement technology, and officially announced the first watch that supports blood pressure measurement. This smartwatch allows users to measure body blood pressure data anytime, anywhere, and master their physical condition.

According to Huawei, this blood pressure-measurable smartwatch has passed the medical device registration test. The next step will be to cooperate with professional medical institutions to open a registered clinical trial. It will be officially released after obtaining the “Medical Device Registration Certificate” and is expected to debut in the second half of the year.

It is reported that hypertension is one of the world’s common cardiovascular diseases, which causes organic damage to the heart, blood vessels, brain and kidneys, and seriously threatens human health. The World Health Organization has designated May 17 each year as World Hypertension Day, which aims to arouse people’s attention to the prevention and treatment of hypertension.
