According to user reports on social platforms such as Reddit and Twitter, Apple has extended the air quality index feature in the weather forecast to more market areas in the iOS 14.7 Beta version update. With the previous iOS 14.3 and iPadOS 14.3, Apple has expanded this feature for iPhone and iPad. After this update, it has newly added markets covering the Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, and Canada.

The so-called Air Quality Index (AQI) has now become a fairly common indicator in the world to measure the level of environmental pollution in a city. The AQI air quality index ranges from 0 (best) to 500 (worst), with 151-200 being unhealthy, 201-300 is very unhealthy, and 301-500 is quite dangerous.

In addition, the screenshot of the main interface of the mobile app shared by Twitter user John Ee in Vancouver, Canada, shows that the AQI index bar is also displayed below the current temperature / above the time point forecast. Of course, you can also ask Siri for air quality information.
