openEuler 22.03 LTS will be based on Linux Kernel 5.10

Linux Kernel 5.10 maintenance cycle has been confirmed to be extended from 2 years to 6 years. Huawei said this week that according to the version plan, openEuler 22.03 will be released next year and will be based on Linux Kernel 5.10.

According to data from Huawei, Huawei ranks top in the contribution of Linux Kernel 5.10 patches, and the total contribution of Linux Kernel 5.6-5.11 code accounts for 5.8%, ranking top 3. According to the version life cycle of the openEuler community, the openEuler 22.03 LTS version will be released next year, and Linux Kernel 5.10 will be used as the kernel of this version.
