Honor 9X lineup first to get May 2021 patch update

Honor 9X

Honor 9X

Honor 9X succeeds the Honor 8X and brings some notable aesthetic as well as performance upgrades. The notch-less full-HD+ display is sufficiently sharp and punchy, but outdoor visibility is a bit sub-par and the large size makes one-handed usage difficult. The Kirin 710F ticking at its heart handles day-to-day tasks with ease, but it stutters at graphics-intensive games, and synthetic benchmarks narrate the same story as well.

However, the phone’s 4,000mAh battery is a redeeming factor and it easily lasts over a day with moderate to heavy usage. The triple rear cameras are just average in terms of their imaging output. Daylight shots turn out crisp with decent color reproduction, but oversharpening is clearly visible. Selfies are also plagued by overprocessing. However, the night mode helps the Honor 9X punch above its weight at low-light photography.

According to the latest information, Huawei has finally started distributing May 2021 security patch update and the first devices to get this opportunity is Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro in China. This software update comes on build number 10.1.0.132. There are no additional changes mention in this update. You can check the complete changelog which is mention below.
