Apple Music is now integrated into Mercedes-Benz MBUX car infotainment system

Mercedes announced on Wednesday that Mercedes-Benz’s MBUX car infotainment system will natively integrate Apple Music services. In fact, Apple Music is not the first streaming media platform to enter MBUX, but it will undoubtedly bring a huge improvement in experience for iPhone users. Currently, the MBUX system has integrated Spotify, Tidal and Amazon Music, allowing users to access up to 75 million songs.

If Mercedes-Benz owners want to use Apple Music, they only need to enable it in their personal Mercedes Me account, just like using Spotify and Tidal. Then, as long as they have set up to MBUX smartphone data, they can start playing. The upcoming C-Class and S-Class cars will be the first models with new integrations, but other Mercedes-Benz owners equipped with MBUX will get access after an OTA update pushed later this year.
