Apple releases new health apps to add features such as walking robustness, trends, and laboratory results

Apple is bringing new features to health apps designed to make it easier to identify, measure and understand changes in health over time. Mobility tracking will quickly capture a new walking robustness index, which can assess your risk of falling by measuring the speed and uniformity of your gait.

Apple will use this data to classify your robustness and how it changes over time. Apple is still adding detailed descriptions to help users better understand laboratory results. These will enable you to see whether the results are within the expected range and enable you to obtain additional information about the indicators. Through the trend, you will see long-term changes in the number of steps, sleep and other indicators.

Health sharing feature-You can now share “health data, trends and alerts” with family members. For example, receive warnings of high heart rate from other family members, and then immediately ask their care about them. Data is encrypted during transmission and at rest. There is also a kajillion toggle button to decide what you are willing to share.

Trends (Trends) feature can show the improvement of overall health indicators. You can share “you choose” health data “in a private way” with your healthcare provider. You can also share your health indicators directly with your doctor. There will be support from 6 healthcare providers in the initial stage (hopefully will not be used by insurance companies to serve as children).

The data used for training comes from the largest data set related to fall research so far. You will be notified if your stability is low. And there will be exercise suggestions in the Health app. The Health app can now include a “detailed description” of the “average value” described by the laboratory, or it can display the “expected range”.

Health monitoring will add three new functions. The first is mobility. iPhone will be able to assess your risk of falling through a new indicator called “Walking Steadiness”. The motion sensor measures speed, gait, time, and the time your feet are on the ground, etc. and observes changes in your balance.

Another new feature is to share your health data with your doctor in a safe way, so that the doctor can see the health record and spot long-term trends. Apple also showed how to incorporate various health data into a clinical trial app.

The breathing app has now been “enhanced” and it has added a new animation feature. There is also a new “Reflect (reflection)” function that allows you to focus more. There is also a Mindfulness app that brings new types of exercises-Tai Chi and Pilates. Fitness Plus subscription has more celebrity classes, including Lady Gaga, Keith Urban and Alicia Keys.
