The Office app on Android gets a new recording feature

The Office mobile application for Android has recently received a new recording feature. This feature is currently available to Office Insider members who are running Build 16.0.14026.20096 and later and using the English (United States) language. In addition to basic voice recording functions, Office applications also support real-time voice-to-text transcription.

This updated Office application can synchronize text highlighting during playback of recordings and can be shared by exporting the content to other Microsoft 365 applications and services. For users of Microsoft 365, this feature can also divide and transcribe the input content according to the identities of different speakers.
